Michelle Crenshaw, a native of Detroit, has a career “below the line,” working in the camera department within the motion picture industry. Michelle freelances on features, episodic television and documentaries with numerous credits as an Assistant and Camera Operator for various Directors of Photography. She has worked her way up mainly on Union shows.
As Director of Photography her most recent Hastings Street Blues Project is currently in production. Recently aired projects includes “Pride,” a documentary series episode #3 for FX, and “Delilah,” a new drama series for Warner Horizon/Own network. Ms. Crenshaw has lectured at various colleges and community centers, such as in the USC cinematic arts. She was awarded an Artist in resident teaching cinematography to advance media students at Wayne State University.
